Centerplace adding Best Buy, Sports Authority next year, an article from The Greeley Tribune, reports that developers who own the Centerplace shopping center plan to add Best Buy and Sports Authority to the development in time for next year's holiday shopping season. Included on the site will also be a health club and other retail stores. The development is planned to be located at an undeveloped site east of Target and Kohl's at the 47th Avenue and U.S. 34 Bypass. Kelly Peters, Greeley's economic development manager, said that while plans haven't been finalized, if Best Buy comes to Greeley it will fill a hole in the electronics retail market.
