The Thompson School District chose Coyote Ridge as the name of the new elementary school scheduled to be completed by the fall of 2008.  The school will serve students in the Ridgewood Hills Subdivision at 7115 Avondale Drive.  The neighborhood carries a Fort Collins address, but the school falls within the Thompson School District’s northern boundaries.
Facility managers will begin the selection of a contractor to build the $8.5 million School.  The funding comes out of an $89 Million bond issue voters approved in November 2005.  Crews are expected to break ground on the 53,000 square-foot building this spring.
