Colorado moving up in home price appreciation, an article from The Greeley Tribune, reports that 3rd-quarter statistics from the Office of Federal Housing Enterprise Oversight indicate an improving trend with resale appreciation rates in the northern Colorado housing market. In a state-by-state comparison in the past 12 months, Colorado ranks 36th with a 2.23% appreciate rate. Weld County ranks 221st, in a ranking of 287 metropolitan statistical areas and divisions. Larimer County had a 12-month appreciation of .22% and had a ranking of 197. One thing these statistics show is that now is still a good time to be a real estate buyer in northern Colorado.
