It is almost surreal to come to a beautiful little town located in Northern Colorado and see a multi-million dollar collection of bronze sculptures throughout this city. The beautiful town that contains such an attraction is called, Loveland, Colorado. “Loveland, a work of art” is a phrase frequently used to describe the city where one is surrounded by artistic attractions.
Sculptures grace the local parks, Civic Center, street corners and even intersections. There is a huge variety of sculptures in Loveland that range from polar bears to frogs, to horses to a family playing instruments. Many nationally noted sculptors, painters and artisans actually have their studios in Loveland. Loveland also boasts the Sculpture in the Park annually in August. This show claims to be the largest sculpture show in the nation. The magnificent pieces are a treat for the whole family. Pack a picnic, take a stroll through the park and see the amazing sculptures that Loveland has to offer.
