Loveland/Fort Collins, Colorado airport
By BuyandSellColorado.com
Northern Colorado is becoming recognized as a great place for industry. Healthcare and social assistance and professional and technical services are expected to continue to grow in the area. To date computer and electronic product manufacturing have been the driving force for growth. However, this area remains at some risk due to the importance of a small number of large employers.
Developer Martin Lind believes there is a way to reduce that risk by expanding the use of the Loveland/Fort Collins, Colorado airport. In his words, "we have an airport that is just existing," and he is working to establish a site at the entrance of a business park to fuel airplanes of aviation-related businesses. In addition he wants to develop private land with aviation type businesses at the other end of the airport.
Lind and his staff will be meeting with the airport staff to hopefully work out details which will make it happen. Loveland, Colorado and the surrounding area can expect to hear more about Lind's "Airpark of the Rockies" project.
