BORDER WAR BLOOD DRIVE

It's not only about football anymore! CSU is helping the Garth Englund Blood Donation Center in Fort Collins win a friendly competition against the United Blood Services in Cheyenne. The two donation centers are competing for a traveling trophy - a bronze heart - that will be awarded to the agency that receives the most donations November 12 -21, 2007

Ram Fans are encouraged to do their part by giving blood on November 13th anytime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room located on the south concourse of Moby Arena.

Each participant will receive an "I Bleed Green & Gold" t-shirt and a voucher for free admission to that night's women's basketball game against San Francisco. Each donor will also be entered to receive a surprise prize pack from CSU Athletics!

The blood donated at any of the Fort Collins locations will remain in Northern Colorado to treat patients at Poudre Valley Hospital and Medical Center of the Rockies.

If you can't make it to Moby Arena on the 13th, there are several other opportunities to help Colorado State win the Border War Blood Drive:

November 19th - Savings Building Condo Assoc. (125 S. Howes, Fort Collins)

November 20th - Poudre Valley Hospital (Cafe B, Fort Collins)
11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
