Homeowners wanting to upgrade or simply move to a new area should like the U.S Department of Labor report that Loveland and Fort Collins, Colorado unemployment rates declined 0.7 percentage points to 3.6 percent so far this year.  More people employed could mean more buying and selling opportunities for homeowners.

As a state Colorado's March rate dropped 0.4 points from 2006 to 4 percent, and the U.S. rate fell 0.3 points to 4.5 percent.  The number of unemployed in Colorado decreased by 15,300.

In Loveland there is no shortage of new business construction.  The new Wal-Mart Supercenter between Loveland and Fort Collins should be open around September. Heidi's Brooklyn Deli, the Rock Bottom Brewery, Staples, Culver's Frozen Custard & Butter Burgers, Bone Fish Grill, Park Regency assisted living facility, and Ethan Allen are all under construction in the vicinity of I-25 and U.S.34.

These unemployment numbers and the new construction would indicate that employers are in a hiring mode which should bode well with homeowners wanting to sell.  For those wanting to move to Northern Colorado the opportunities appear unlimited.
