By BuyandSellColorado.com

County receives grant for reservoir, an article from the Loveland Daily Reporter-Herald, reports that Larimer County received a gift in the form of a $695,000 grant from Great Outdoors Colorado to pay for improvements to paths around Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Over the next 3 years, the money will be used for the creation of a new trailhead that will provide northern access to the Blue Sky Trail.  District Manager Mark Caughlan said six new camper cabins and 20 campsites will be added, and a new camper services building that will include showers will be built at Inlet Bay.  Also included will be a new swim beach with a picnic area, trail access and parking.  These projects will cost an estimated $1.73 million and are an important part of the long-range plan for the county.
