Loveland, Colorado, Newsweek names Thompson Valley High School a top 1,000 school
By BuyandSellColorado.com
What an honor it was for the Thompson School District to have Thompson Valley High School named on the top 1,000 high schools for its number of students taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses is an important honor for the school.
Newsweek magazine recognized high schools from the East Coast to the West. The Staff at Thompson Valley is proud of the honor they have attained and strived to provide to the students. This is a challenge of the nationally standardized test, a course that gives students an edge academically and financially when they apply for colleges. AP courses are more challenging so students are better prepared for college coursework and can also “test out” of college courses.
Hats off to Thompson Valley and the Thompson School District to have a top 1,000 school.
