Wal-Mart buys land in Windsor; developers plan to break ground next month, an article from The Greeley Tribune, reports that Jeff Kaplinski, director of operations for Windsor Land Co in Windsor Colorado., confirmed that Wal-Mart closed on land that includes two lots the retailer has been interested in for nearly three years in Windsor Colorado. Kaplinski said in an interview, "We will be putting a Wal-Mart in Windsor, Colorado. We will probably break ground in January on (street) and other land improvements." Many in the community said the big boost to commercial tax revenue was long overdue. It is still unknown how long it will be before the company breaks ground on the building.
