Board agrees housing study a must, an article from the Windsor Beacon, reports that in June, the Windsor Housing Authority, the Work Force Housing Committee and the town of Windsor agreed to pursue a housing needs assessment study. This week, the WFHC brought back a bid from the Economic and Planning Systems to prepare the study, subject to approval from the town. The needs assessment survey would take a look at housing available in the area, as well as wages, family types, gender, age and other information. According to Denise Selders, a housing development specialist for the Department of Local Affairs, said the state of Colorado would like to have the housing needs of the entire state mapped out by the end of 2008.
